So from now till 10 days before Pentecost, May 19th this year. Jesus walked, talked, and lived with the disciples.
In this time he was with them, teaching them, they had the opportunity to just Abide or to wait patiently with the king of kings
Abide
1a: to bear patiently
b: to endure without yielding
2: to wait for
3: to accept without objection
Jesus remind us the need to abide with him
John 15:4
The word remain here in John 15:4 is
men'-o
to stay (in a given place, state, relation or expectancy): - abide, continue, dwell, endure, be present, remain, stand, tarry (for), X thine own.
To abide to wait patiently for what ever God wants to do in us and through us
John 15:1-12
Reminding us to remain and obey
He tells us in
John 16:31-33
Remain in him through all that is going on Stay Rooted in Christ
A Tree with deep roots verses surface roots
Dig in and wait upon the Lord
Isaiah 40:27-31
Do not forget
Those who wait
Those who abide in the Lord
Those who are ROOTED in Him
Will: Find new strength, Soar, Run and not Weary, Walk and not Faint
He is with you. Stay with him

He prays, warns, and they do not change
We must be a people who hear and obey even when its hard to hear.
Will you respond to the calling of God in your life.
