Verse 8 HE SAW AND BELIEVED
Step back for a moment and put ourselves in the shoes of the disciples
One day having Passover meal
Next watching there hope get nailed to the cross
Hope for
What are you putting your hope in
Vehicles - Nice then rust and trash
Sports team - great season then hoping for next season
Dreams - wants and desires then the let downs come
Homes - New or used and excitement then the repairs
Finical security - Great term then all is lost
Faith is the fuel of the future, and if God is the God of yesterday, today, and tomorrow, then tomorrow should fill us with inexplicable hope. No matter how bleak the present may seem for those of us who believe, the future is always full of hope.

Jesus tells us in verse 24
That wheat gets planted and dies but there is life
Death to life
There is DNA in that seed. That tells it to grow after it dies.
The life of Jesus and his death and his resurrection changes everything
It even changed how we look at time and dates
His life is a significant marker in history
His life was so significant we can put our hope in him
An Encounter with Jesus = Transformation
The life of Jesus had a dramatic effect on Mary.
When was the last time you has a Jesus event?
When you know for a matter of FACT that Jesus, The Lord God, did X for you
Remember that feeling. Remember that time, He wants to do it again
Rewind for a moment
HE put his whole hope in Jesus and had an encounter with God and there was transformation that happens with that thief
We are crucified with Christ
All the things that we tend to put our hope in
Make them obey Gods calling on your life
Trust the Promises
Because of what we celebrate today.
Not because of our own work

Promises are YES and AMEN!
