Each of us causes our church to be sick or healthy depending on our own personal actions.

Acts 2:42-47

Moving forward we want and desire to be a healthy church.

Discipleship    

    Mentoring, teaching, growing, & sending

    Biblical, compassionate, & transformational

Opinions don't transform lives, opinions change Jesus never changes

We need community. We thrive in community. We need each other. Join a life group, If you feel left out the question is have you stepped out into a life group yet?

Prayer becomes not just something we do here at church but becomes a part of you daily life style

No talking about how good they were, how good the life group leader is, how good any one piece of the church body is but focus on how good God is.

When someone find freedom in Jesus, Marriage restored, Greedy becomes a giver, Depression to Joy, Gossip to Friend, Broken to healing

Hebrews 2:4

God decides what gifts are needed. We need each of us to step out into these gifts. Not just one or two people but everyone stepping into their God given gift. 

 This year we'll be learning of the Gifts of the spirit and the fruits of the spirit deeper. We will be looking at God is greater than. Greater than our thoughts, ideas, fears, addictions and so much more Greater than anything.

It takes all of us. God wants to use you

Its time to grow up, the goal is unity not uniformity, The bible will be our gide but God made each of us different. Its not about what person we vote for. Its not about how I prefer to worship and the style of music I want. Its not about what he said or she said. Its about the God of the universe. Lets get back to the purpose. To worship Jesus

Staying is not easy, People hurt our feeling, we hurt others, We resolve conflict biblically instead of walking away. You cannot fix it if you don't talk to them about it.

Matthew 18:15

Spiritual immature people run from problems. If you leave one church because of problems you will leave the next one too. Healthy believers stay and work things out.

They meet everyday. Not just once or twice a week. They were committed to worshiping. They did not miss opportunities to meet. The current average is 1 every 6 weeks. So If a message that is 6 weeks long one one message is received.

The earlier church knew the importance of meeting together. It was a priority for the early church. They did not schedule other things or go to other scheduled events. They regularly and routinely got together. Worship, prayer messages, fellowship..

Its supposed to be a celebration. Its ok to have fun. Its ok to jump and dance and play games. When the world is falling apart the church should be the place to find joy.

Do everything but not become outward focused. If all we care about is what this church wants and our ministry and forget to reach the community we will become dead. Church. We will do things that will be different then our personal preferences but keep the focus on the holy spirit point us to Jesus

This year we will be equipping each of us to become outward focused. We are looking at events that will equip us to go to church. Not just talk about it but to become active in it. 

Easy doesn't mean healthy. As we discover Jesus is greater then all things. We will be challenged to grow and become life long followers of Jesus. Not focused on the coming and going of the lates trends. We will be generationaly focused. We will be a go and share our faith type of church. 

Its all starts with us full in know God is greater Than our personal wants, thought, preferences. He will lead us into sharing the hope of Jesus. 

That all would have a new hope of Jesus here in Cornell and all the surrounding communities. WE DREAM OF A HEALTHY GOD CENTERED CHURCH
